Terms of Service — Retention Intelligence

1. Service Description
Retention Intelligence ("Service") provides AI-powered churn prediction, retention analysis, and customer health scoring by connecting to your CRM platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, and others) via OAuth 2.0 authorization.
2. Account and Access
You must authorize access to your CRM data through a secure OAuth connection. You may revoke access at any time through your CRM's connected apps settings or by contacting us. Each authorized connection is specific to the CRM portal you connect — we do not access data from other portals or accounts.
3. Data Usage
We access your CRM data (contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, and related records) solely to provide retention analysis, churn prediction, health scoring, cohort analysis, and executive reports within the Service. We do not modify, delete, or write data back to your CRM. All access is read-only.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your CRM data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256 via AWS server-side encryption). OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-GCM before storage. Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US-East-1 region. We maintain SOC 2-aligned security practices including role-based access controls, audit logging, and automated security scanning.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service uses Amazon Web Services for infrastructure, Amazon Bedrock for AI-powered analysis, and Amazon Athena for data querying. No CRM data is shared with, sold to, or made accessible to any other third party.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Data syncs run in the background and may take minutes to hours depending on the volume of records in your CRM. We are not liable for delays caused by CRM API rate limits or outages.
7. Intellectual Property
All analysis, insights, reports, and scores generated by the Service are derived from your data and are available to you for the duration of your subscription. The underlying algorithms, models, and platform technology remain the intellectual property of Retention Intelligence.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." Retention Intelligence is not liable for decisions made based on the analysis, reports, or predictions provided. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
9. Modifications
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email to the account owner. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination
Users may terminate their contract at the end of their contract terms by giving at least a 30-day notice period. After initial terms, contracts will extend on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise specified. Contact support@retentionintelligence.ai to submit a cancellation request..
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
